Scales for weighing coffee doses

Our most popular scale for weighing coffee doses is without doubt the Ohaus Navigator NVL2101. Over the recent years we have sold hundreds of Ohaus Navigator NVL-2101 scales to coffee baristas across Australia. With its large stainless steel pans easily accommodating entire coffee handles, accurate weighing to 0.1g is quick and easy to achieve even in the busiest of coffee shops. Constructed from tough industrial grade ABS plastic with dual power operation, the Ohaus Navigator accurate scale has proven itself capable of withstanding the rigours of coffee shop weighing.   

Whilst you maybe tempted to save a few dollars and go for the NVL-1101, as coffee handles can vary in tare weight, we recommend you choose the NVL-2101 as this will leave sufficient capacity to weigh the coffee after heavier coffee handles have been tared. If you choose the smaller NVL-1101, you may find that you will not have sufficient scale capacity to weigh the required coffee dose once the handle itself has been tared off.
