Shipping & Returns
We give you the option of choosing how to ship your order.
At checkout, you can choose to have your goods sent via Australia Post at their prevailing postage rates based upon the weight and dimensions of your order, or alternatively, we can ship your order via our general courier service which is charged at our flat rate per order freight fee of $25.00. Our general courier service includes TNT, Toll Ipec, StarTrack, Fastway, Direct Freight and Couriers Please.
Whilst most orders should be delivered within 2 to 5 days of order, larger items and deliveries to regional locations may take up to 14 days. In the event your item is not in stock, we will contact you immediately and advise you of when you could expect to receive your order. On receipt of such advice, you have the option to cancel your order and receive an immediate refund of your payment.
If your order fails to meet your statutory consumer guarantee, we will repair, replace or refund your purchased items, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
We do not offer refunds for change of mind purchases.
All of our products are supplied with a manufacturer's warranty, the period of which is specified on each product page.
Out of Box Failures
Despite our bests efforts, from time to time, we experience out of box failures. If you experience an out of box failure, please contact us, whereupon we will arrange for the return of the faulty scales at our cost. On receipt of the faulty scales, we will repair or replace the faulty scales at our cost, inclusive of return freight costs.
30-Day Product Exchange
At The Scale Shop, we understand that from time to time, we all make mistakes and you might have inadvertently ordered the wrong scales online. If on receipt of your weighing scales, you determine that your purchased scales do not meet your requirements, please contact us within 30-days via email or phone our customer service department on 1300 335 737 to discuss your alternative options.
Our 30-day product exchange program is subject to the following conditions:
- Valid for orders up to $1000.00 in value only;
- You must contact us prior to returning any goods;
- You are liable for all freight and insurance costs;
- Goods must be returned in its original packaging;
- Goods must be in "as new, unmarked" condition.
On receipt at The Scale Shop, the scales will be assessed and if determined to be in 'as new' condition, a store credit will be issued for the invoice value of the returned goods. If the goods are not returned in 'as new' condition with all accessories and documents, at our discretion, we may offer you a prorata store credit to the value we assess the returned goods can be re-sold. If you do not agree with our valuation, your goods will be returned to you at your cost.
